The West Reading Diner:
Your Hometown Diner, A Second Home to Many Families and Friends
The West Reading Diner was built in 1963.
It has been owned and operated since 1993 by Mr. Hamed Hassan, a former electrical engineer. He was
born in Egypt, but grew up in New Jersey, where he worked with the dept of transportation as a design engineer for over 15 years, and then raised his family in the state of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hassan has years of experience in the restaurant business which was his intial interest.
Most people have heard of the term “family restaurant” or “family diner”, well after you experience the home cooked food, excellent service and family atmosphere, you too will feel like family, it’s just that kind of place.
As you sit, relax, and wait for your meal, the jukeboxes will play for you all the infamous hits of the 80’s, 90’s, and the latest music. We accommodate customers with special needs (handicapped access). The diner still has a
